Teams

Mercy Night includes an opportunity for you to be part of a team. We have three teams that have just started. You can read more about teams at http://www.loveservegrow.com/

"MARTHA"S KITCHEN" – Bev Matthews

I would like to see a team interested in food and hospitality. This might include anything from cooking for MERCY NIGHT to scheduling meals for shut-ins to new moms and even times of welcoming someone to your neighborhood. It might be to plan a Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless. The ideas that a team could come up with are many, not that we could do all of them, but what fits the team, and as this team grows and breaks away with new teams other ideas can be incorporated. FOOD was one way Jesus reached many people, so let’s do what Jesus did.

Scott Mans (team will be named later)

We want to build a team of young adults (20s to 40s) who like David’s mighty men are fearless and Holy Spirit filled. We want to encounter God together and see the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power. Our team is out to see, through experience, that the gospel is as much for today as it was 2000 years ago. On Mercy Night, we’ll roll up our sleeves and serve in whatever way is needed.

“FISHERMEN” – Dave Lutz

I love to talk to people about what God has done for me. The Lord has shown me that all people are important to Him, no matter where they’ve come from or what they’ve been through. I’d like to lead a team that is active in going out in the community, making friends, and talking with them about the love of Jesus.

Mercy Night - June 13

Our first Mercy Night will be June 13 at 6:00 pm, 602 S. Washington St., Kennewick.
Mercy Night exists to give people who aren’t accustomed to church the opportunity to know Jesus Christ, to experience Christian love, to serve alongside other believers, and to grow into strong Christians.
We'll have dinner, some music, and a message, "Mercy - What is it and where do you get it?"
Come and bring somebody.
